The Tamiya JR 1.5mm Carbon HG Rear Brake Stay Set, is a limited edition brake stay that commemorates the Tamiya 2021 Mini 4WD Japan Cup. Machined out of carbon fiber, this stay is the same shape as the TAM15518, however, this features the Japan Cup and Tamiya Logo. Package includes one rear brake stay and mounting hardware.
About the Rear Brake Stay:
The brake stay allows the user to attach brake sponge (sold separately), while still allowing for roller clearance. Brakes in Mini 4WD are a vital part of racing and help stabilize the car before jumps. Not enough brake and your car will overshoot and potentially wreck. Too much brake and you will loose needed speed. Fine tune your brakes with this brake stay and ride the line between safety and speed.
