The Tamiya Dinosaur Series 1/35 Fukuiraptor Plastic Model Kit recreates the Fukuiraptor, a dinosaur believed to have lived in present-day Fukui on the northern coast of Japan roughly 120 million years ago. In life it measured about 4.7 meters in length and was known for its sharp teeth and claws. This kit is designed at 1/35 scale and uses Tamiya's Clic Loc system, allowing the parts to snap together without the need for glue.

Authentic Design

The model captures the Fukuiraptor's slim body, short forelegs, and long hind legs based on research conducted with the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum and the Faculty of Dinosaur Paleontology at Fukui Prefectural University. Its mouth, teeth, and skin texture are all depicted with realistic detail, and the finished model measures approximately 110 to 120 millimeters in length. The kit includes a display stand and 2D human figures to show size comparison, along with a color leaflet that introduces the Fukuiraptor and other dinosaurs discovered in Fukui.
