A German WWII aircraft, the Bf109 was a highly effective aircraft, especially in its climbing ability and acceleration. The Bf109 G series began development in 1942 and was improved upon with a number of modifications, building on previous variants. The G2 was equipped with an MK151 20mm cannon and a pair of MG 17 machine guns. This aircraft was present from 1942 to the end of the Second World War on all German fronts.
