Powered by the Velineon® 3S brushless system, it reaches speeds of over thirty-five miles per hour with a 2S LiPo battery and more than fifty miles per hour with a 3S LiPo battery without requiring gearing changes. Brushless Electronics & Precision Control

The Velineon VX3 water-resistant electronic speed control and Velineon V3200 brushless motor deliver strong acceleration, efficient power delivery, and high-speed performance with support for both 2S and 3S LiPo batteries. The VX3 ESC features a large aluminum heat sink with a cooling fan, Traxxas EZ-Set® one-button programming, three selectable drive profiles, high-resolution linear braking, and Traxxas Link™ telemetry compatibility. A water-resistant 2057 metal-gear steering servo provides dependable steering durability, while the TQi™ Sport 2.4GHz radio system offers long-range control, fail-safe protection, thirty-model memory, and Traxxas Stability Management® (TSM) for improved handling on low-traction surfaces.

Low-CG Chassis & Heavy-Duty Suspension

The reinforced low-CG chassis positions the battery and electronics lower in the vehicle to improve cornering speed, stability, and overall handling. Integrated ribs strengthen the chassis while the long wheelbase, tube bumpers, and nerf bars increase durability during aggressive driving. Composite GTR shocks feature large oil capacity, threaded shock collars, powder-coated springs, and X-ring seals to provide smooth, consistent damping across rough terrain. A torque-biasing center drive, full-time shaft-driven 4WD system, Maxx-Duty® driveshafts, oversized six-millimeter axles, steel wheel hexes, and oil-filled steel gear differentials efficiently transfer brushless power to the ground. Scale Kumho® tires with performance foam inserts mounted on dual-profile split-spoke wheels provide dependable traction and predictable handling across a variety of surfaces, while the aerodynamic clipless short course body increases downforce for greater high-speed stability, allowing quick body removal for fast battery changes without the need for body clips.
